Overview

The Urban Outfitters app redesign aims to improve its mobile experience by creating a more dynamic and brand-aligned aesthetic. Key updates include a simplification of the interface, enhancing the app's visual cohesion, user ability, and layout. The redesign also features an improved checkout process for seamless transactions, along with the integration of a search bar for all categories to streamline navigation.

Research

Using Urban Outfitters' brand guideline book, I reviewed their policies and compared it with their app. Most of the information in the book related to the app was focused on logo guidelines and font choices. From there I downloaded the app to get a better first hand understanding of user perspective and test how it flowed. After using it, I found a few screens to be unnecessary and multiple buttons that go to the same place.

Objectives & Goals

- Streamline user experience and make each page easier to get to.
- Organize the information in a more logical way.
- Create something new within the brand guidelines.
