Through this typography design project, I created a magazine-style booklet to bring an article about Japan's aging population to life. The project involved designing three distinct spreads, as well as a cohesive front and back cover, to convey the complex narrative of this demographic shift. By thoughtfully selecting typefaces, establishing a clear hierarchy, and balancing text with visuals, I aimed to enhance readability while reflecting the cultural and societal nuances of the topic. The design choices emphasized both the urgency and humanity of the subject, resulting in a visually engaging and informative piece that captures the reader's attention and encourages deeper reflection.
